I carried a Watermelon

Ooooh I'm so excitable! Well, it has been a long time hasn't it! Since you lats heard from me I've settled into uni, already had a tiff with one of my tutors and handed in some work late (through no fault of my own, for the record!)
Anyways, life has been pretty dull for the past few weeks, apart from a kebab shop related mishap and a couple of bottles of wine, my life has been pretty regular. I'll start with ... I dunno, Friday?
On Friday I went to Uni for the day, had a rockin lesson with Babs and then came home to get ready for my night out. Em had phoned me up the previous night inviting me up to Salford for the night, so I thought, why not?
Anyways, Carla and Chrissy picked me up at 6.30 and we made our way up to Salford listening to some groovy Flares style tunage! When we got there we just chilled out with a few bottles of wine and some chips and naan bread and then got ready to go out, Salford Uni style! For those of you who don't know the students at Salford all live in the same village thingy and they have their own nightclub, which is where we decided to go. Was pretty much your average kind of night. Lmao! Ok, so that's a lie. It was possibly the most random night of my life! I sat on a pool table, in a pool of vodka redbull, dried my pants on a crappy broken hand-dryer and then almost did the same thing again! Then at about 1ish my feet were hurting so Chris and I decided to go and sit in the bar. whilst we were there I was reading her dirty texts from this lad she knows (he's in the army btw) and then this random lad came and sat next to me askin if I'd been to Malia this year. Then he proceeded to ask about 50 questions about where I had been this summer, what course I was doin etc. and then I tried to find out his name and where he was from and he wouldn't tell me for ages. Turns out he's called Stevo and is from Hackney in London. Then his mates Tim, Rick and Gaz(?) came and joined us. Fun times were had by all! :s very random people indeed, especially since Stevo kept callin me Bethany and Christina! hmmm! Then I had about an hour of conversation with Tim about how he is going to be famous (he's in the new series of Shipwrecked, out in February btw) and then we left. When we got out we bumped into this Em knows called Nathan, and so we went back to his place and stayed up playing cards in his kitchen! Woo! About 3 Chrissy and I went back to Em's house and went to sleep. Needless to say we were feeling rough next morning.
Yesterday I spent the day and night babysitting my niece, who has taken to beating me up btw!
Today I have done some work for Uni and made tea for the family (lasagne and lemon meringue pie yummy!)
Only a week til I go watching KT Tunstall for the 3rd time this year. God I love that woman! Dear God, please let the scary lesbians be there!

Listening to: Mornings Eleven - The Magic Numbers

So ... it's been a while. Sorry I haven't updated but I've been busy busy busy!
Where do I start? Well I quit my job last week thinkin that I was going to be moving to Ormskirk. Turns out that there was no room in the halls of residence at Edge Hill so it means that I have to stay here in sunny Wigan. Woo!
Worked out for the best though because I'm moving into the spare room which is a lot bigger than my room! Also I can continue with my driving lessons whilst looking for a job in Wigan. Also going to be able to spend more time with my friends and family ... which I think is a good thing and as soon as I pass my test mum and dad are going to buy me a car (they just don't know it yet!)
So last Sunday I went to Amanda's BBQ and there were plenty of drunken festivities for the poor student. Went on a random drive with Suanne and then had a boogie! 50 cent is my LIFE! I have all of his albums! Whatever he raps reflects me and my life!
WHATEVER love, you live in Wigan, I doubt you've been shot 9 times, unlike me and Amanda! ;) 10 times people! It's the future!
So since then I haven't really been up to much. Just chilled out before starting Uni. Today was my department induction which was fun, especially since we were 30 minutes late for it :s goddam car parks! We had a wander around and then went to McDonalds and then came home. It was fun. Turns out that I know quite a lot of people going to Edge Hill. Bizzarre!
So that's everything really. I'm gonna go and tidy up the house before my mum gets in. It's not a mess, she's just seriously anal about these things!

I'm so happy happy happy! So results day ... dum dum dum!!! So I passed my exams with BCC which means I get to go to Edge Hill like I wanted to! yay! Go Me! Then I spent the afternoon packing my stuff for V (mmm party rings) and then I went out around Wigan afterwards to celebrate. What a fun time. Itr's been ages since the lot of us went out and it was really fun. Ended up coming home early with vicky as we'd both had enough and were in serious need of sleep.
On friday I got up at 7, had a shower and then went to the train station. Nearly had a break down when I realised I'd forgotten my bag which had my ticket, money and phone in it. But my dad made it to the station in time. Then we travelled to Stafford to the field of wonders! Spent the rest of the day fighting with the tent and then drinking expensive (plastic) bottles of cider. Went to a "rave" that night and then sat around Lorna's tent with her, Alex and Random Joe. Had quite a giggle, especially with the spontaneous outbursts of "BEN RRROOOOBBBOOOOOOO!" Then it was off to bed for me. Over the weekend we managed to watch some amaaaaazing performances, Scissor Sisters were particularly brilliant! Just like watching the God channel. Woo!
Been really nice weather all weekend too ... well, apart from today, when it rained, but at least I didn't have to stand around waching bands in the mud. Woo!
Well, that's everything really. It's so nice to be clean again!

Been sorting out my V stuff today. He he he he he spent a very funny 30 minutes trying to put up a tent in our back garden lmao and I could only get hold of a double sleeping bag so I'll be carrying alot on friday.
Anyways, might only be getting chance to update on monday/tuesday due to being very very busy. Woohoo!

Well it's been a while!
On Thursday got back from a fortnight in greece to find that my V Tickets have been delivered! Yay! I'm so excited! This time in 1 week I'll be watching a faaaaaabulous act, possibly KT Tunstall (whom I love) Yay!
Since thursday I've been keeping myself busy. Mostly washing and then drinking wine. Note to self: wine does NOT agree with me! Also been chilling out watching friends dvd's and listening to cd's whilst reading 'The Looking Glass Wars' by Frank Beddor. It supposedly tells the real story of Alice in Wonderland. It's quite good actually, even though it's teenage fiction. Filled with violence! Wayhey!
Not got any plans for tonight apart from taking my nan for a meal but we'll probably be back home before 7. Woo!
Tomorrow I have an appountment at the opticians as I need to get stronger contact lenses. I'm blind without them.
Well that's everything really. Not much going to happen this week apart from getting my A2 results on Thursday and then going out round town afterwards. Should be a fun night

Well, I've been keeping myself busy. On Sunday Night I managed to finish the sixth Harry Potter book. OMG DO NOT READ IT!!! he he he not going to say anything more on the matter. Then yesterday I worked, which is always interesting. After work I got a phone call off Em about the Monday night plans. Turns out that Sean Livesy was having a few people over and he'd invited Emma and Christina and because they'd already made plans to go to the pub with me, I got invited too! Woo! Had a really good night actually. Just had great little chats with Eastum, got beaten up by the HUGE Morris and revelled in shock by the fact that Emma didn't know who the Temptations are!!! OMG I KNOW! Managed to get to know Sean a bit better too. Not spoken to him since high school. Always nice to catch up. Got home at about 2am which is always good.
This morning I had my driving lesson, otherwise I would have stopped over at Chrissy's last night grrrrr! After that my mum and I went to the bank and then to ASDA where I bought two new pairs of flip flops and a sparkly bag! Yay! Then we went to see my nan which was good because I haven't seen her in ages. Then we went to Tesco to drop off two films to be developed (Tenerife yay!) and then I came home and watched few dvd's.
Well I'm off to cook tea. Shepherd's Pie. Yummy!

Well, I'm back from Tenereife. Had a great time. All the days have seemed to merged into one. One thing about the holiday is that I came back home YEARNING to buy M.I.A's album. OMG IT ROCKS! Very unusual but totally addictive. You have to listen to it, purely for the lyrics 'I salt and pepper ma mango!' Go on her official site www.miauk.com or join adz's forums www.miafans.tk Rock On!
Managed to get a bit of colour from the holiday and have a few good stories to tell.
Did you know that Emma knits hats for bats in her rocking chair? It's a very lucrative business! Earns a bloody fortune!
Oh this shit is pomegranites! P.O.M.E.granites he he he! It fits if you say it really quickly! Lol
Anyways, I had a great time. We should do it again next year!

Since then I've been sleeping and reading the latest Harry Potter. Life just never ceases to be interesting. Working tomorrow :( not nice
