Yaaaaay only 6 days til coldplay! And 9 days til Tenerife *crys* so happy
Not been up to much recently. On Monday I had my English Literature exam and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better paper. It was the Faustus exam which was a closed text exam and so I had to memorise quotes. However, the main assesment objective was how the play applied contextually to Elizabethan England, which I basically knew anyways. Also, just before the exam I said to my mum 'If they ask me on whether it's a morality play or a tragedy then I'll be sorted' And guess what the question was:
'How far do you agree that the play 'Doctor Faustus' can be described as a morality play or a tragedy'
I was almost dancing in the exam hall. Then the second question was going to be on a poem or prose that we hadn't seen before and we had to analyse it and find links between that and a certain theme in Dr Faustus and we had to find similarities/difference on the attitudes to death. Basically, the poem they gave us was practically a replica of the final soliloquy in Dr Faustus. I was oh so happy! What a way to end my exams!
So I've basically got about two weeks of nothing to fill. Yay! On Monday night we went to the quiz, and did appalingly. Lol! Nearly won 20 pounds though. Oh well, never mind. Then we had a cruise round to Chrissy's to look at her gorgeous little chinky chento (hehehe @ Chrissy) whislt listenin to the latest clubland. It's quite good actually, em lent it to me to copy. You have to love Fading like a Flower. It's THE tune of the summer. Poison is fabby too! Wooo!
Going shopping tonight with my mum to get a few bits and bobs for the holiday. Wooo! Sooooo excited now! Yay!
